Get ready for R Online Read#16 Exhibition At the opening of a new art installation, four siblings come in support of their sister's new exhibition. It explores their estranged mother's alcoholism and forces them to re-analyse their own childhood and memories of her. This is a deeply moving piece that explores the life long heartbreak of dealing with a family member with a debilitating addiction. While at the same time using humor and the very relatable idiosyncrasies of sibling dynamics, resulting in a thoughtful and compelling story full of well rounded interesting characters . Ultimately posing the question of what keeps a family together? Join in our online Zoom call in which participants will be invited to read this one act play together OR just sit back and listen from the comfort of your own home. The reading will be followed by a thought sharing session and opportunity to ask the writer about their work. From 18:00-20:00 pm (GMT) on Sunday the 14th of November . For this session we will ask for a £1.50 booking fee, which will confirm your spot and cover admin costs. (WARNING- This play deals with themes of addiction and family trauma)
