"I believe that collaboration is essential for the creative process and for new voices to be heard. The last couple of years in London I've come across so many theatre creatives with amazing ideas, yet they are left in the draw due to lack of support and a network of people to make it happen. It's time to make their voices heard." Raquel

Melissa Syversen
Dramaturg
In 2017, she completed an MA degree in Theatre Criticism and Dramaturgy at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (London) and has since worked as a dramaturg, translator, writer and theatre critic. She has contributed work to Teatre de L'opprime (Paris) Mark Aspen reviews, The Twickenham Tribune, the UK premiere of /SYLVIA\ the South Korean premiere of WIFE by Samuel Adamson.
"I feel it is important to work on stuff that is socially relevant and shines a light on society's darker edges. It is essential to work with like minded people and in an environment you can feel confident to express your ideas. A scheme like R Creatives would have been extremely useful for me as a producer and writer." Mai
