MARSHLIGHT by Calvin Jordan

This compelling and nail-biting mystery will have you hooked from the start. Set in a seemingly picturesque rural west country town, in this full-length drama, nothing is what it seems.

An outspoken teenage girl, frightened of facing what lurks in the shadows of her dreams. A warm nature loving eco community living off the land, hides harrowing secrets. A veteran policewoman stuck in the monotony of daily routine, capable of heroic maverick actions.

This artfully written thriller with deeply nuanced characters is full of unexpected twists, all interwoven with Cornish/ Celtic supernatural folklore. With extremely sensitive subject matters, such as abuse of power and manipulation, grief, trauma and grooming, this is a bold piece to unpack. We hope you will join us as we delve deep into this brand-new crime drama.

Trigger Warnings: With some deeply upsetting scenes, portraying rape and child sexual abuse.
