Continuing R Online Read series we are delighted to announce R Online Read#8 with Georgia Beats, a new TV drama pilot by Gregory Vines. The Drama starts off in Wales and takes place throughout several decades, from the early 70s to '97. Deception and manipulation have given Georgia Beats the money and protection she always craved. But it’s Georgia’s buried life as Charmaine, sister of Gary Medlicott, the infamous child killer, that is always circling, ready to bring her down. Join in our online Zoom call in which participants will be invited to read this new pilot together OR just sit back and listen from the comfort of your own home. The reading will be followed by a thought sharing session and opportunity to ask the screenwriter about their work, this time zooming all they way from Melbourne, Australia!! From 13:00 (BST)-15:15 (BST) on Saturday 1st of May . For this session we will ask for a £1.50 booking fee, which will confirm your spot and cover admin costs. Warning: Contains strong themes such as, sexual abuse of minors, children in extreme poverty and institutionalized, as well as scenes of violence.
